God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. - Romans 5:8
"Love is the responsibility a person has in another persons life". Because God has a responsibility in our lives- to make us his own, let us succeed in all our ways, he made Christ died for us.
We have responsibilities to fulfill in the person that you know or you're with life. And this is what we call love.
If you are able to identify what you must do in someone's life to help the person succeed or change him or her for good, then you love that person because you have fulfilled your responsibility in that person's life.
Understand that LOVE is not a feeling but love means a responsibility you have in a person's life. It becomes a feeling when you lust. Love is when you don't boast, envy, anger, hate, you are patient, kind , you don't seek for yourself alone but others. These are responsibilities you have to offer in someone's life.
This means you love the person. That's why we are told, believers let us love, and anyone who does not love, doesn't know God. For God is love.
