Most people often get influenced by what other people think or say. They start a project out of passion, but quickly realize they're stirred in all directions at once. They forget to stay focused on their path.
Here are 6 hummingbird techniques, I would like to share with you today, in order to never give up:
- NEVER LOSE SIGHT OF THE FLOWER
Like hummingbirds moving from flower to flower to collect nectar; you must from goal to goal to get things done.
- IDENTIFY YOUR GOALS
Hummingbirds will eat from anything with nectar in it, but they must be able to find it. If your goals are too far-off or not clearly defined, you will never get the result of what you do.
- YOUR WINGS ARE STRONGER THAN YOU THINK
Hummingbirds have smaller wings compared to their fellow birds. Yet, they can fly in all directions: right, left, up, down, backwards, and even upside down. The size of their wings doesn't limit them.
Similarly, you might start off with a disadvantage, only to realize later it was a blessing.
Shake off the dust, open your wings, and move forward.
- WHAT YOU BELIEVE TO BE AN OBSTACLE TODAY IS A MIRACLE IN DISGUISE
Hummingbirds seem small and frail on the outside. Yet, their wings can beat at a pace of 60 to 80 times per second, and propels them up to 25mph in a normal straight-line.
They might seem small on the outside but they are strong on the inside.
Similarly, what seems like a disadvantage for you right now, might very well be an advantage for you later in life.
Think about it: if you had more money, perhaps you wouldn't correctly budget your life. If you had a better job, perhaps you wouldn't be able to have a better schedule. What seems negative today can become a blessing tomorrow.
- HUMMINGBIRDS NEVER GIVE UP
Hummingbirds never give up. Its their trait of character. They go from flower to flower, until they find nectar.
Similarly, you have to relentlessly pursue your goals. Don't stop because one flower doesn't have nectar, continue until you reach your goals.
- HUMMINGBIRDS HAVE A HUMMING SOUND
Hummingbirds create "humming sounds" when they fly.
When you become focused on what you do, your vibrational state increases and your energy flows.
By following your inner melody, you'll accomplish your goals.
